The nature of Botswana is fantastic. Due to their economical situation and export of diamonds Botswana have become a relatively rich country in Africa. Therefore they can protect the national parks better and and substain a well preserved natural habitat.

I arrived from Zimbabwe to Kasane in the north to explore the Chobe national park, there is also easy access from the south. If you have rented a car yourself there is good roads and easy access to national parks for a small fee.

For me it was important this time to learn how to find the animals and luckily we had a guide that really liked to explain the way to track them.

It´s fantastic to observe the animals and see their reactions, trails, breathing and eyes just to make sure why they do it and of course to make me find what I want to find...the cats!

Take your time in the national parks, don´t rush it because you will miss the whole thing. Overnight in the parks to see the morning hunts and the evening actions. They are the best. It is worth every penny. I just love it.
